Patch fields that survive an audit
We build and maintain the physical layer inside data centers, colocation suites and enterprise MDF/IDF rooms.
- Patch panel and cassette build-outs — LC, SC and MPO
- Fiber trunks — MPO backbone, breakout and pre-terminated assemblies
- Copper patching — Cat6, Cat6A and Cat7 to cabinet and row
- Cross-connects between cages, suites and meet-me rooms
- Cable management — vertical and horizontal managers, trays and ladder rack
- Cable dressing — bundled, combed, radius-respected and strain-relieved
- Labelling schemes to ANSI/TIA-606 or your own convention
- Rack and cabinet installation, PDU and airflow-aware layout
- Decommissioning — abandoned cable removal, which is a code issue as well as a tidiness one
Working in a live room
Most of this work happens around production equipment. That means change windows, escorted access, badge and background requirements, and a rule that nothing gets unplugged because it "looked dead". We work to the site's procedures, and we would rather ask a question that sounds obvious than take a customer's circuit down.

After-hours and weekend change windows are normal for this work and are priced accordingly rather than refused.

Can you work overnight or on weekends?
Yes. Most meaningful data center work happens in a change window, and we schedule around yours rather than asking you to schedule around us.
Do you test the links you install?
Yes — copper certification and fiber OLTS/OTDR as appropriate, with results handed over per link. See testing and certification.
Can you clean up an existing patch field?
That is a regular request. Remediation means tracing what is live, removing what is not, re-dressing what stays and producing labelling and documentation that matches reality. It needs a walk-through before anyone can quote it honestly.
Do your technicians pass background and badging requirements?
Facility access requirements vary by operator. Tell us what yours are at quote stage and we will confirm which technicians meet them before the job is scheduled.
